In 1978 Joey Steckler?s love of building and working with cars became focused into establishing a place where he could put his energies to use for others. There we have been finalist three times and a winner of the ?World?s Ultimate Mopar ?award. Major awards include class winners at events such as the Mopar Nationals in Las Vegas. We are very proud to be award winners at local, regional, and national events. As well we have been represented at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. These include the National Hockey League?s Edmonton Oilers, Champ Car Race Series, Edmonton Police and Edmonton Fire Department and many other companies displaying vehicles for promotional events. What ever the request, a full restoration, a high quality paint job or a small repair to your special vehicle when quality counts Joey?s Place can help you.We have been honored to work with many prominent organizations creating promotional vehicles. These areas include: mechanical, and a prep shop with it?s own down draft booth for priming, fabrication (for race cars and other unique projects), welding, metal, a paint shop with yet another dedicated booth and an assemble area. Each building houses separate departments and specialists capable of taking care of all our customers needs. This path has enabled a passion to flourish into Joey?s Place, a fully equipped auto restoration facility with over 13, 000 ft of shop space in two buildings. We have also won several Best Appearing Awards for our custom paint work on race cars in both the NHRA and IHRA.
